Watercolor & Acrylic

This week we will be offering one of our teen camps! Join us as we do a deep dive into both watercolors and acrylic painting. We will spend the first two days of camp focusing on watercolors. Learn about both liquid and tube paints, different types of paper, color theory, how to mix, brushstrokes, and different techniques for painting with watercolor. Day three and four we will jump into acrylic painting, working towards creating a painting on stretched canvas by the end. Process, mixing, shading, brush technique, and tricks of the trade will all be covered in this unit. Have fun this week as we explore different methods of painting, and walk away with a better understanding of how these mediums work and how to properly use them.
Camp price includes a daily snack and all materials.
Teen camps typically attract 13 - 16 year olds, but all teens are welcome.
